Happy Spring to you all! As you know we have been super busy the past few months and have been unable to update so this one is going to be mostly pictures with captions. First though I want to share some of our exciting firsts and milestones.

As you can see above Brian loves to eat and sweet potatoes are his new favorite vegetables!










The most exciting was this past week when we discovered Brian's first tooth! We we so proud I had Brian hold his mouth open while I snapped a picture to post on Facebook and Myspace for all to see. Each day his precious tooth comes out more and more. And today we were able to see the tip top of the other tooth! (More pictures of his pearly whites to come since he is smiling more than ever)

A few weeekends ago Opa came to visit. He and Jr played and played.... and napped a lot. It was funny how they both needed naps at the same time lol.

Brian's first time in a high chair, he wasn't quite ready for it yet.

Last weekend we headed toward Houston for some family portraits in the blue bonnets. Gammy came to visit us in the hotel and B showed off his new toothy smile and practiced his sitting ( he's almost go it down). Brian has now mastered rolling and standing, which he loves to do, along with clapping his feet together.

He has such a beautiful smile :)

We also tried out the sippy cup for the first time. Brian has been holding his own bottles for a few weeks now. It works ok but he doesn't have much interest yet.

Sleeping.... he is sleeping 12-14 hrs a night and long naps during the day... growing up is exhausting business!



At his 6 month check up yesterday Brian weighed 19.8lbs and 28 inches long. His weight is finally catching up with his height. As always he flirted with and charmed the nursing staff and earned his first sucker after his shots for doing so well.

On other news I got my first teaching job right after Spring Break as a special education teacher doing Inclusion with 8th graders. So far I love it! And Brian's new love... his not so shiny new truck! We got a red '95 stepside Sierra a couple weeks ago and and he has driven his car only a couple times since then :)
