39 weeks 6 days and counting....
Yes..... I am STILL pregnant! :/
I don't know why, the doctor doesn't know how... she said 2 weeks ago that I should go into labor before the next week... and here I am 2 weeks later and nothing has changed. I am 3 almost 4 cm dilated and 70-80% effaced. It seems every other day will be "the day" yet I go to bed and wake up to a day of very little contractions.
Patience is not really a virtue I possess and I really like to be in control and have things planned... so these last few weeks haven't been the easiest lol.
Also yesterday I got a horrible pain in my side, the kind you get when running usually because of dehydration... my brother Sheldon calls the "side stitches". It was on my right and lasted all day, it got so bad at times I couldn't walk or stand and had to sit. It had subdued for the most part, reappearing only for the walk to and from the hospital and my car today. Anyway my doctor says its just because the baby is SO big (high 8 lbs but probably not 9) he has now simply gotten too heavy for me and recommends I sit or lay when I can, therefore I will be starting my maternity leave this week.
There IS an end in sight though... today my doctor told me that she has scheduled me to be induced next Wednesday. We are hoping by her doing so Murphy's law will kick in and Baby Brian will come on his own before then. Either way I am super relieved to have some sense of control back in my life by knowing that he will be here next week for sure. :) Brian and I cannot wait for him to be here and for all to meet him!!!

I think you should take one more belly pic before you POP! I can't wait to meet Baby Brian and I have a feeling he's going to be right on time... his time ofcourse!
