Potbelly Realizations
So as you know we have been so excited about our 1st prenatal appointment this past Tuesday... however I had NO idea how amazing that morning would turn out to be. Not that it started that way, this week I have been extremely tired and feeling pretty yucky most the day, I'm so hungry but nothing sounds good to me, even my trust eggs or cereal has lost its appeal. :( On Tuesday I woke up feeling especially nauseated and knew it'd be a long day. That all went away when it was finally time to hear the heartbeat of our baby. Though my tummy has been rapidly starting to show actual signs of pregnancy( Brian is lovingly calling me potbelly, presonally I like TumTum better) I wasn't really feeling like I was actually pregnant, like there wasn't really a baby there or something. But after a few minutes of the doctor searching and searching Brian and I suddenly realized how real this all was. Faint at first them a booming, rapid, larger than life heartbeat filled the room and it was truely the most amazing and wonderful thing I have ever heard and I tried hard to not get all choked up. I can't wait to hear it again, in fact we plan on trying to record it next month.
And for all you wandering minds.... we will find out the sex, and see the first pictures of our baby in May between the 6th and 20th!
So stay tuned everyone!
Much love,
Cory
