This Week's Update/Vacation Plans

The metallic taste in my mouth is finally gone, no thanks to my medication though. The medication worked but caused so much nausea and stomach pain I stopped taking it after 2 days and have just been dealing with the acid reflux naturally. I'm eating a bunch of little meals, about 1/2 -1 cup every 2-3 hours, and staying away from as much grease as possible. The nausea isn't as bad and doesn't last as long now, though I think I might need to find an alternative to milk as it seems to upset my tummy as well. Regardless, I am feeling better and not as much like a blubber whale so I'm beginning to love pregnancy once again :)

Well this week marks the start of a very busy month ahead. I will be packing for our Ohio/North Carolina trip and getting final steps in order for Jenny and Ray's bridal shower on Saturday night (so excited!). We are flying out 6 am on Sunday and should arrive in Ohio around 1 pm that day. Plan is to be there for about a week and then make our drive back, stopping in North Carolina to see what our future may hold once Brian is out of the army. We should return the 3rd or 4th of March, just in time to was clothes and pack for our cruise. We will be in Houston the 6th or 7th to see some family and friends before our cruise March 8th-15th. After the cruise we will remain in Houston for a few days more than head home to relax before Ray and Jenny's wedding the 21st. Finally, the week after the wedding we will have Brian's family at the house for Spring Break. Its all so exciting, and exhausting to think about, but its a much needed vacation for Brian. Saturday couldn't come any faster.
